ASAI Hotels, operating under the umbrella of Dusit Hotels and Resorts, is an Asian-inspired collection of hotels targeting on becoming an access point for curious millennial-minded travellers who want to experience vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods around the world like a local. ASAI Bangkok Chinatown takes up five floors above 4 floors of retail space with a total of 224 rooms, and is scheduled to open in Q1 2020.

An opportunity came up to join our small but outgoing Pre-opening Team as Human Resource Manager. We need your expertise, motivation and willingness to learn and grow to shape this important part of our company's future.

You will:

* Set up all HR, Talent Development and Culture related functions during the pre-opening phase for our first property in Bangkok
* Manage payroll, contracting and communications, and develop a comprehensive reporting structure
* Support the Operations Team to achieve their goals by defining, establishing and analysing standards, mastering all aspects of the recruitment process and creating an appealing staff recognition and incentive scheme.
* Assist HODs in building up an attractive training system, co-develop and conduct generic soft skill programmes, and analyse trends in industry

You will make it to the next round if you are:

* Fluent in Thai and (close to) fluent in English ? the job interview will be in English
* An experienced HRM/ Assistant HRM, working in a medium sized 4 star property for more than 3 years
* Savvy in contemporary HR operations and computing
* Positive, creative, motivated, eager to learn, welcoming, professional, a fast learner and thinker with a sense of customer service, problem solving, responsibility and humour
* A people person, a great communicator and trainer able to build an attractive work environment and memorable experience for staff and guests
* Experienced in Hotel Pre-Opening (would be nice but not mandatory)
