? Bachelor?s degree required
? Requires knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
? Minimum five years of sales and marketing.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems.
? Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal.
? Strong media, presentation and computer skills.
?Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
?Demonstrates ability to think creatively and analytically.
?Communicates clearly and effectively.
?Possesses strong leadership skills.
?Is familiar with the workings of the hotel and hospitality industry.
?Demonstrates strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
?Works well with a variety of different individuals.
? Analyzes and Identify client base and business opportunities and increase sales.
Develops promotional and advertising materials for the hotel.
? Addresses, resolves and response to any issues, complaints, or negative review regarding sales or marketing.
? Monitor for overall selling channel e.g. Corporate, Travel Agent, and Online Travel Agent.
? Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
? Implements all sales action plans related to my market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
? Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
? Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
? Attending all department and hotel meetings as necessary.
? Work closely with Food and Beverage Manager to develop strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
? Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.
? Maintains positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.
? Assist General Manager in preparation of the marketing, advertising, sales plans, programs and annual budget; manages within approved plans and budgets.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
