- Bachelors degree in related field
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Excellent organization, planning, and administration skills including a working knowledge of using the different computer systems required in the day-to-day operation of a hospitality business
- Significant experience in general management and developing a team within hospitality industry
- In-depth understanding of hospitality property marketing and driving effective demand for the products and services we provide to our guests
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliverable as set by the Board of Directors, and the ability to self manage the steps required exceed defined important metrics
- Able to prioritize and possess excellent time management, decision-making, strong leadership, and most importantly teamwork
Excellent social skills (written and verbal), administrative, and organization skills
- Able to travel upcountry and abroad
Mad Monkey Hostels is expanding internationally, with multiple new hostel launches this 2020. We are hiring for an experienced Operations Manager to run the hostels and support the executive team for our new locations in Thailand and Laos.
We are looking for a friendly, positive-minded individual who wants to join the Mad Monkey team on an exciting journey of growth and expansion. You should be an ambassador for the brand, understand and relate to the company?s core values, have a considerate management style that will drive team members motivation, and possess the ability to work closely with the owners to deliver an excellent customer experience.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering superb levels of customer service to our guests, and will be responsible for controlling expenditure and maximizing revenue, driving team engagement and team performance within the hostel.
You will be responsible for all aspects of running the hostel standards to ensure smooth operations of the hostel and report daily to our Regional Operations Director.
