1. Diploma or Bachelor?s in Hospitality or related subjects preferred
2. At least 3 years front office experience required in supervisory position in the hospitality industry
3. Knowledge in the front office in the hospitality industry
4. Excellent spoken and written in English
5. Well versed in use of computers such as word, excel and Property Management System
6. Supervisory experience or strong leadership qualities
7. OTAs knowledge is an advantage
1. Ensure Outstanding customer care at all times.
2. Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
3. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.
4. Supervise daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures.
5. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue.
6. Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service.
7. Allocate rooms to expected arrivals after checking the guest?s preferences and special requests.
8. Cross Check all billing instructions are correctly updated
9. Supervise the operations of the front desk to ensure an optimal level of service and hospitality is provided to the guests
10. Ensures safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to security, manager.
11. As a supervisor you will be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring the front office team.
12. Ensure Front office log book and hotel log book is always updated and actioned upon.
13. Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
