The role
This is a senior leadership role that oversees the Food & Beverage operations for the group, and is responsible for the Food & Beverage strategy across all of our properties. Reporting to the COO, this role provides strategic leadership across the business units and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of outlets. Outlets include a range of Restaurants, Bars and Banquets/Catering offerings across all properties.
Purpose
The Group Director of Food & Beverage is the senior strategic leader for all aspects of Food & Beverage. The role will develop and implement a food & beverage strategy that is aligned to the group and individual properties strategies and lead its execution.
The role will be responsible for maintaining awareness of market trends and ensuring food and beverage product offerings meet and exceed customer expectations while generating increased revenue and positioning the outlets favorably in the market.
The role will provide market advice and expertise to the Executive team to inform future business opportunities.
This role will be required to partner closely with business leaders of each of the properties to ensure Food & Beverage Strategy and operations are aligned to overall property strategy.
Outcomes
Quality service and standards are maintained across all outlets and properties
Food & Beverage profit margins are increased without negative impact to customer service or satisfaction
Outlets are at proactively addressing market trends and adapting to meet demand
Food and Beverage teams are integrated in to and contributing to achieving the business vision
Any relevant legislation requirements are proactively met across the group
Business leaders have an expert partner who can assist with development and implementation of business strategy.
