You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or chefs training course and at least 2 years experience in quality establishments along with a good level of culinary skills. Strong in European cooking style is a plus. Understanding and training in food hygiene. The ability to communicate in English.
Organisation, proactiveness and consistent communication within the supervisory team and good management of staff is vital for success in this role.

We are currently seeking highly organised, passionate and dynamic kitchen professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver quality dishes with speed, accuracy and consistency.
As assistant Outlet Chef you are responsible for the smooth operation of the kitchen with emphasis on organisation; quality, timing, consistency and presentation within the guidelines of the standardized menus, and employee training and head up our significant restaurant, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of all food items in accordance with the restaurant?s SOPs and standardized menu guidelines
Monitor regular standards of production to ensure highest level of quality and consistency of dishes & waste control
Ensuring daily preparation and mise en place sheet is checked, updated and the appropriate action is taken
Daily/Weekly stock count/stock coordination
Monitoring stock levels and inventory for reordering
