Duty Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, and implements a maintenance program for the property.
- Uses appropriate checklists to perform scheduled inspections of all guest rooms and public areas.
- Repairs and maintains all interior and exterior furniture for loose screws, webbing and joints.
- Leads the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules
- Communicates with Housekeeping to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for Guest rooms and public areas
- Develops systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Team Members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property
- Oversees installation and maintenance of air conditioning units, systems, and chiller operations.
- Reviews all outside contract services for departmental responsibilities with the Hotel Manager.
- Ensures "guest first" attitude among team members and provides friendly guest contact experiences.
