- Expected to handle all the purchasing matters, he or she must master the required food identification and knowledge, according to the guidelines giving to (him/her) by the Chef Instructor, Production Chef, or Purchasing Manager
- Must be knowledgeable about kitchen and pastry equipment and parts.
- Must be knowledgeable about hygiene and safety requirement, in food industry.
- Must be proactive and must understand the value of the Brand, and specially the importance of the quality of the food items.
- Expected to learn fast and develop him or herself, rapidly to become more knowledgeable and efficient.
The role of the purchasing officer is to handle all the purchase needs of all goods for the school.
The function includes the storage monitoring and stocks, together with the Receiving storage officer/ISO, Production Chef and Assistant Production Chef.
