Marketing Manager must maintain awareness of the factors that influence the hotel industry and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of a hotel?s customers. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet guests' needs, working closely with other hotel staff to ensure guests are satisfied with the facilities and their time there.
Marketing Manager supports for maximizing hotel revenues by developing, implementing and executive strategic marketing plans and programs to increase hotel?s exposure and business opportunities.
Roles & Responsibilities
? Conduct marketing research by monitor customer reviews on hotel?s website or booking sites to identify the strengths and weaknesses
? Review travel industry research to identify trends that could affect the hotel
? Maximize Customer Awareness by make it easy for customers to find out about the hotel, post hotel details on destination websites and online booking sites to increase reach to hotel?s target audience. Collaborating with other meeting venues to offer their delegates accommodations or meeting space to access other potential customers
? Oversee all marketing campaigns for the hotel or department
? Implement marketing strategy
? Promote a business, product, or service
? Ensure the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones
? Represent the marketing team to cross-functional groups including product management, sales, or customer support
? Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns
