Qualifications

- Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
- Thai Nationality only.
- Pre-opening experience as an IT manager in medium-large organization is essential.
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines, handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
- Problem solver and critical thinker.
- Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.

IT managers is responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading computer-related activities at The Food School. He or She will help determine the IT needs for the Food School and is responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.

Responsibilities

- Manages and monitors the operation of all computer hardware, ensures all systems are installed and working properly, and serves as the primary contact for servicing the computer hardware.
- Ensures that all systems are covered by the proper maintenance contracts and that preventive maintenance is performed as required.
- Continually keeps informed of Dusit approved systems and technology that may contribute to improve the School?s efficiency, including, but not limited to: Computer and OS management, Software operating and utility systems, Experience and capacity of administrating Office 365 as well as Windows Server and Networking tools, Accounts Receivable and Accounting Management Systems, Interfaces from Student Management System to accounting system, Point Of Sale System and interface with accounting and procurement system, PABX systems, IT Security
- Manages configuration reports, job control languages, program files and data files on the computer system(s) to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Monitor software performance and maintains logbook of performance reports e.g. through systems measurement facility/utility, error and integrity check reports, system malfunction and solutions.
- Establishes documents and tests and communicates appropriate disaster recovery emergency procedures.
- Ensures all computer media saves and back-ups are completed, documented, and stored.
Maintains uncompromising data and physical security standards.
- Roll out Data Privacy Standards as per Dusit Policy
- Controls the key/lock for computer room and ensures that the computer room fire protection, temperature control, and power requirements meet the standards.
- Administers all user IDs, passwords, and the most sensitive system utilities and security parameters.
- Maintains technical and user documentation, systems report, newsletters, and announcements.
- Completes and distributes activity reports, program trouble reports, and enhancement list.
- Keeps informed of the latest, updated, changes, enhancement, and development in the school computer field and builds relationships with vendors.
- Performs basic changes to program control languages using screen edit utilities, operating control languages statements and screen design aids.
- Plans and manage manpower needs.
Handles budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT department.
