1. Excellent knowledge of marketing and customer service, including setting up and
managing tickler files.
2. Comfortable writing strategic plans, analyzing markets and marketing potential.
3. Skilled at writing promotional materials, membership materials, and developing
newsletter content.
4. Adept at making a sales pitch, comfortable with fundraising, and recruiting new corporate
partners.
5. Ability to nurture ongoing relationships with corporate partners to ensure solid retention
each year.
6. Extremely well-organized, goal-oriented and very high attention to detail.
7. Articulate and comfortable picking up the phone and calling people to track down
information, following up on lapsed memberships, and responding to inquiries.
1. Provide leadership in selling membership.
2. Ensure that sales target is met, both individually and for the department.
3. Generate prospects appropriate to the Club?s image.
4. Conduct inspection tours at the Club for prospects and entertain where appropriate.
5. Close each and every sales professionally and efficiently to ensure a satisfied customer.
6. Ensure all membership prospects and referrals are professionally followed up for sales and further sales opportunities by maintaining a prospect follow up system.
7. Ensure all new members are professionally enrolled into the Club. All enrolment session will only by held at the Club.
8. Ensure all record accounting and financial matters of sales closings are professionally and correctly handles.
9. Provide the Membership Secretary with complete prospect data necessary for entering into the Club?s administration System etc.
10. Assist General Manager with various sales and marketing programs and activities. i.e. banquet and catering sales.
