- Able to work 6 days per week and rotate shift
- 2 years experience in a Chief or Assistant Chief Concierge role in an international hotel
- Proficiency in English; multilingual is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
- Ability in multitasking and time-management
- Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation
- Bachelor in hotel management or relevant field will be a plus
1. Appraises staff and reports findings to the Front Office Manager.
2. Inspects lobbies and other guest areas.
3. Authorises paid-outs, cash advance and allowances according to policies established by management.
4. Co-ordinates with Security Department in the investigation of irregularities and undesirable guests.
5. Exercises control over all concierge staff in the absence of their superiors.
6. Ensures and control proper flow of traffic at the front driveway.
7. Checks on the works of the Concierge/Bell staff.
8. Renders help to the Assistant Chef Concierge/Concierge when necessary in the handling of complaints.
9. Conducts daily operations briefing.
10. Attends Operations Meeting in the absence of the Front Office Manager.
11. Interacts and mingle with guest when required.
12. Supervises a team and is responsible for recruitment and selection of staff.
13. Conducts performance appraisal and counselling of staff.
14. Performs other duties as may be assigned by superior.
