- 3-5 years - experience working in luxury hotel and/or position apply.
- Positive outlook & team player with good communication.
- Focused on quality and consistency with keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and keep calm in difficult situations.
- Proactive work style.
Main Duties:
? Responsible for maximization of room sales and revenue for the hotel.
? Take reservations and operates systems in accordance with hotel standards of performance.
? Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of sales opportunities within the hotel.
? Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all major sources of business and advise the Front Office Manager and Reservation Manager to feed back where necessary.
? Ensure all waitlisted business is recorded appropriately.
? Ensure the Reservation Manager is kept informed of all developments within the department.
? Adhere to all company credit policies to ensure all revenue expected will be received
? Adhere to pre-set availability and rate controls.
? Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area.
? Ensure a high level of Reservation is consistently maintained.
? Process all reservation requests by phone, mail or fax, and SPIRIT system, promptly and accurately to established standards.
? Maintain all files, records and documents in an orderly manner.
? Check daily arrivals and inform concerned personnel of any missing information.
