CHIEF ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Leads the Engineering Team in the day-to-day engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel, including service standards, equipment schedules, and work schedules
- Communicates with Housekeeping to coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities for Guest rooms and public areas
- Develops systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of Guests and Team Members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property
- Oversees installation and maintenance of air conditioning units, systems, and chiller operations.
- Reviews all outside contract services for departmental responsibilities with the hotel's General Manager.
- Directs and coordinates the activities of all assigned personnel and departmental responsibilities.
- Ensures aggressive "guest first" attitude among team members and provides friendly guest contact experiences.
