- Hotel industry work experience
- Able to work and converse efficiently with all levels of colleagues, clients and other external contacts
- A resulted oriented with good interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Previous role as an Assistant Director of Sales or Director of Sales in a similar quality hotel.

Director of Sales

Responsibilities:

- Provides a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the establishment.
- Participates in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans.
- Shares in the establishment of revenue targets for the annual hotel Business Plan for rooms, F&B and minor operating departments.
- As a result of evidence from market research, takes responsibility for the development of new product and guest services in all revenue earning departments, consistent with the goal of exceeding guest expectations.
- Directs the activities of the internal employees outside agencies on public relations, advertising and direct sales & marketing campaigns. Supervise the quality and standard of all sales promotional aids, collateral and merchandising items.
- Coordinates with Manager Revenue Management provide timely and relevant information on hotel trends, to enable the Executive Committee to make pro-active decisions to improve the profitability of the hotel.
- Analyzes the activities of competitor hotels, including their customer base, with the aim of developing and securing new business and providing a market advantage.
- Responsible for total revenue development within the hotel through sourcing, securing and maximizing all sales opportunities.
- Responsible to build and develop the hotels' sales leadership in your geographic assignment
- Evaluate new markets and their needs comparing these with our product and service
- Make sure that joint sales call program is in place and watch after that effective selling time is being utilized.
