Director of Sales (Bangkok based)

We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales to manage all Sales activities for the newly transformed Amora Beach Resort Phuket, which will reopen in October.

You have worked in Thailand and in Resort and preferable in a pre-opening team. You have an extensive network in the MICE, Groups, Weddings, Travel Agents and Wholesalers. And understands the different geological mixes for different seasons.



Most important tasks are:

Managing daily sales activities and coaching your team in Bangkok to deliver to their full potential

Hitting all personal and team sales goals

Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food?and beverage and banquet sales

Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance

Leading the weekly Strategy attended by GM, Revenue Team and Mice seller

Budgeting and advising on sales trips



This role is Bangkok based, with travel opportunities. Regular visits to Phuket.



Experience:

? Preferable to have Pre-opening experience ? strong advantage

? Bachelor?s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in?related fields?

? Five or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales with direct supervisory experience over a sales team

? Strong knowledge of Bangkok, Phuket and overseas markets for a Resort and stay up to date with business trends required?

? Must be fluent in speaking and writing in Thai and English
