This position is based in Cassia Phuket.
Job Purpose:
Under the general guidance of General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing adhering to the policies and procedures as meted out by the Corporate Office, the incumbent shall be responsible for maximizing revenue delivery through focus on competitors intelligence, pricing index, market segment mix and the various available distribution channels; ensuring that factual data and rates integrity.
Key Result Areas:
1.To be responsible for the Revenue Management & Distribution of hotels/resorts in specified regions to achieve and exceed RevPAR targets throughout the year, year-on-year.
2.Ensure on-property rate management, of specified region, is effectively implemented at benchmark: 85% and in alignment with the Groups strategies and doctrines.
3.Quarterly audit on hotels/resorts, of specified region, on adherence of Corporate SOP in revenue
management and distribution processes.
4. To continually identify optimum price points and improving rate parity in our hotels/resorts throughout the year.
Scope of Duties
1. Prepare a daily basis, review the daily/weekly/monthly report, forecast, budget and strategies of hotels/resorts, in your specified region, and make wherever necessary the yield management restrictions, closed-out dates, and inventory control issues.
2. Follow guided by the directions and strategies communicated by Director of Revenue, General Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing,
3. Manage, develop and train the hotels/resorts Revenue Management Associate(s), in your specified area to achieve and exceed RevPAR targets throughout the year.
4. Guided by the directions and strategies as communicated by GM and DORM; accurately forecasts business outlook; business on-the-books, booking volume/channels with the hotels/resorts in your specified region.
5. To continually champion the concept of Dynamic Pricing & Rate Parity to the field.
6. To regularly conduct market analysis and provide accurate diagnostic reports periodically for the hotels/resorts in your specified region to GM and DOSM.
7. In charge of connection to new distribution channel relates to mapping documents, mapping rate plan, and use the resources to increase revenue for the hotels/resorts in your specified region.
8. To provide breakdown allocation of each promotion and package to show to DOR, AGM, DOSM for decision making
9. Align all properties on group wide campaign (Offers, Partnership) and on group wide standards in Conjunction with Director of Marketing Communications and Reservation Manager.?
10. To be the first to know the dynamics of individual hotels/resorts competitors sets and the economic situation to optimize positive and reverse negative impacts on our business strategies.
11. Ensure that timely and accurate submission of all reports generated. All records and datas of previous and current worksheets and market analysis/diagnostics are to be properly filed and accessible to all.
12.? Responsible for ensuring that all resorts adhere to the rate loading SOP without exception.
13.? Conduct regular audit checks to all hotels/resorts in your specified region to ensure adherence to Corporate SOP. 14.? Provide rate loading assistance and support to all resorts, when required.
