- Bachelor's Degree from a reputable hospitality school
- Minimum 2 years of Sales management experience or at least 1 years of experience in a similar capacity with proven records
- High degree of professionalism with strong understanding of global markets and business acumen
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of the function and department process.
- Planning and management of the overall sales and marketing of the hotel to achieve optimal occupancy, maximizing revenue, and meeting/exceeding hotel profit objectives.
- Work with Finance and team in preparation and management of the department- s budget and financial forecasts
- Participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related for the department
- Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales to government agencies.
- Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies.
- Being a Government Sales Manager evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume.
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
- Ensures project are completed on time and within budget.
