Night Audit

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reconciliation:
Balance daily revenue and expense reports.
Verify room rates, taxes, and other charges.
Reconcile cash and credit card transactions.
Prepare daily reports for management.
Night Audit Duties:
Close out daily room and folio postings.
Review and balance all departmental charges.
Verify room rates and occupancy forecasts.
Prepare reports on room occupancy and revenue.
Guest Service:
Handle guest inquiries and complaints during the night shift.
Assist with check-ins and check-outs as needed.
Resolve guest issues promptly and efficiently.
Security:
Monitor security systems and respond to alarms.
Conduct regular property inspections.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
Required Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in hotel management software
Basic accounting knowledge
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work night shifts

A Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the day?s financial transactions, ensuring accurate records, and preparing the hotel for the next day's operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of hotel accounting procedures. Opera System is perferable.
