? Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen.
? Culinary school diploma or equivalent professional experience preferred.
? Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene standards.
? Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
? Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
? Creative mindset with attention to detail.
? Physical stamina to work long hours in a standing position.
? Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your designated section (e.g., grill, sauces, vegetables, pastry) according to the restaurant?s standards and recipes.
? Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes within your section.
? Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, freshness, and consistency.
? Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
? Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, communicate shortages, and assist with stock management.
? Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices, within your section.
? Collaborate closely with other sections and the Sous Chef/Head Chef to ensure seamless service.
? Assist with kitchen prep work, including portioning, chopping, marinating, and other tasks as needed.
? Ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment and tools.
? Adapt to changes in menu, customer requests, and special events efficiently.
