Bachelor?s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Minimum 1?2 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations (luxury or international brand preferred).
Strong knowledge of reservation systems (Opera PMS or similar) and OTA extranets.
Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
Strong service mindset with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Good coordination skills with other departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Flexible to work weekends or public holidays when required.
Position Summary:
The Reservation Officer is responsible for handling all hotel room reservations efficiently and accurately. The role ensures smooth coordination between guests, travel agents, and internal departments to maximize occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction. The officer maintains up-to-date knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, and hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all room reservation requests via phone, email, OTA, and internal systems (Opera or equivalent).
Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and booking confirmations.
Manage room availability and ensure all bookings are accurately entered and updated in the system.
Work closely with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimize room utilization and yield.
Process group and corporate bookings, including rate loading, payment, and rooming lists.
Verify guest details, payment methods, and special requests prior to arrival.
Monitor daily arrivals and departures and support smooth coordination with Front Office.
Maintain accurate guest and booking records for reporting and audit purposes.
Handle modifications, cancellations, and no-shows according to hotel policy.
Promote hotel products, packages, and loyalty programs to guests and agents.
Maintain excellent communication and a professional image at all times.
