Assistant Chief Engineer (ผู้ช่วยหัวหน้าแผนกช่าง)

1. Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
2. Performs additional duties as directed by supervisors.
3. Makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.
4. Is fully conversant with all health and safety fire and emergency procedures.
5. Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.
6. Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or regulation of the hotel is represented.
7. Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.
8. Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Law.

1. Directs and controls all subordinate engineering staff to ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and that guest expectations are met
2. Maintain facilities and equipment by conducting routine inspections and determining appropriate rectification measures, especially public areas maintenance, back of the house area, kitchen equipment, fire alarm & fire protection system and laundry machines.
3. Maintain systems to be able to handle day to day guest requests quickly and efficiently.
4. Ensures the implementation and follow up of ongoing preventive maintenance programs.
5. Update maintenance records and engineering operation log sheets relevant to the efficient operation of the department
6. Supervise preventive maintenance to minimize expenses and breakdown maintenance
7. Supervise water management program, to ensure water quality is met standard
8. Conducting water conservation program and Monitor water consumption.
9. Monitors the standard of work carried out by contractors engaged by hotel to ensure quality of work is met agreement.
10. Supervise and monitor preventive maintenance of fire safety and fire prevention system
11. Coordinate department training.
12. Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops subordinate employees.
13. Supervise Engineering CAPEX and support Director of Engineering / Chief Engineer
14. Supervise special improvement project, assign by General Manager / Director of Engineering / Chief Engineer
15. Respond Kitchen Equipment preventive maintenance , kitchen inspection program and Kitchen infrastructure improvement project.
16. Perform as FSMS Committee
17. Perform as Green Team Committee
18. Perform as Energy Conservation Committee
19. Respond work as ISO-22000 standard, related to Engineering Section
