Profile and Qualifications
1. At least Bachelor Degree in any field
2. At least 2 year experience in Corporate or Leisure Sales as Sales Executive, Reservation Supervisor or Manager
3. Strong in inter-personality and communication skill
4. Proficiency in English communication
5. Strong in driving for results and systematic with creativity

Technical Skills:
1. Strong overall sales skills
2. Effective telephone communication skills
3. Understand Group and Catering positing of the hotel
4. Knowledge of Sales & Catering System and Fidelio Front Office
5. Broad understanding of function and group room space management
6. Proven ability in group sales process and related strategies
7. Maximize revenue by up-selling packages and creative food & beverage
8. Understanding and achievement of team and individual goals
9. Understanding of need time strategy as developed by revenue management
10. Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel

รายละเอียดงาน

GENERAL MISSION:
? The Sales Manager?s mission is to primarily promote the hotel and to achieve optimal sales in the best possible conditions for the company. The performance of the Sales Manager will contribute to the results and revenues of Waterford Diamond Tower & Waterford Resort @Sukhumvit50.
? To ensure the smooth operations of the sales team, consultation with Sales and Marketing Manager on all matters.
? The performance of the Sales Manager will be determined solely by the productivity of the overall results of Waterford Diamond Tower & Waterford Resort @Sukhumvit50.

Responsibilities & Means:
The Sales Manager performs his/her duties within the framework defined by the hotel norms and by internal regulations as specified by the Sales & Marketing Manager.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Manager:
? Assists in drawing up the marketing plan by gathering market intelligence annually.
? Keeps a record on all potential clients and a profile of each of them
? Organizes regular visits in accordance with a predetermined plan.
? Presents a summary of his/her visits to the Sales & Marketing Manager on a weekly basis. (Weekly Sales Plan) prior to and after the week is completed.
? Ensures that all new clients have no negative credit references
? Records the statistics of his/her sales accounts.
? Records all daily sales.
? Submits production reports on his/her list of accounts on a weekly/monthly basis.


COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Manager:
? Keeps himself/herself well informed about the operations especially in key departments.
? Closely observes matters pertaining to competition and bring to the attention of Sales & Marketing Manager. (Sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis.)
? Promote the hotel as often as possible through presentations etc, of the hotel.

SALES RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Manager:
? Adhere to weekly sales call plan.
? Pays visits to former, existing, and potential clients in view of entering into contracts with them.
? Attends weekly sales meetings, for product update and discussion on outstanding matters.
? Defines precisely guest requirements and ensures that the guest services offered corresponds effectively to their requests.
? Provides after-sales service and in particular to ensure that the guest complaints are taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary.
? Receives in the hotel any important guests whom he/she has approached.
? Negotiates prices with clients.
? Confirms verbal proposals in writing and transmits to customer via email/fax.
? Ensures that all complaints are brought to the Sales & Marketing Manager for immediate action.
? Conduct a minimum of 4-6 sales calls a day.

RELATIONS:
Public Relations Responsibilities:
? At all times to promote a positive image of the hotel in all forms of contact.
? The Sales Manager maintains and ensures the smooth running operations of all his/her accounts within the designated zone.
