1. Tertiary qualifications in accounting or related field.
2. Previous experience in a supervisory role in the finance and accounting function.
3. Previous experience in a Hotel environment, with in-depth knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for Lodging Industry.
4. Proficient in all operations of the Comanche and Brita programs.
5. General computer literacy
Key Scope: Responsible for the supervision, control and deliverables of the hotel?s accounting department, procurement function and IT, including their general duties and their communication with guests, public and other hotel staff. Proactively pursues cost containment and profit improvement opportunities as well as risk management/ asset safeguarding initiatives. Implement and maintain control systems and procedures to protect the Hotel?s assets. Provide General Manager and other department heads with timely and meaningful management accounts and analyses of the hotel?s operational performance.
