-Bachelor's degree in Sales&Marketing,Hotel management,Business Administration,or related preferred.MBA is the advantage
Experience
-7 Years related experience or an equivalent combination and experience.
-Global brand and 3 stars property will be the benefit.
-Wholesale and MICE business background

Job Summary ? (Role Summary)
? To manage sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan and to achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy for your hotel.
? To support DOSM to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the hotel to ensure revenue and room night sales goals are achieved, sales and marketing strategies are set, tactical plans are created and implemented and results are monitored and achieved.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities ? (Key Activities of the role)
? Monitors competitors activities and assists in marketing intelligence
? Sells to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business
? Services existing business through management of account bases
? Sell all facets of the hotel
? Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market
? Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis
? Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators and other producers closely allied to Hotel business
? Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place
? Entertain clients
? Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
? Monitors existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize business
? Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business Maintain regular contact with the IHG hotels in your region and the regional reservation office
? Grows existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business
? Interfaces with operations on a timely basis
? Initiates and prepares tenders for business
? Assesses sales and marketing data
? Assists with the preparation of new products and services
? Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
? Analyses sales mix and likely impact on hotel goals
? Collateral input
? Create and develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotel to potential clients.
? Direct day?to-day sales activities, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance and recognize good performance
