1. Able to multitask and prioritize.
2. A comprehensive knowledge of the area or region in which you work will aid in your recommendations to the guests.
3. Knowing how to deal with different types of people and thriving in a social environment can be important to your work as a concierge
4. Fluent in English will be beneficial
5. At least 6 months -1 year experience in the hospitality industry
1.Ensure that courteous, prompt and efficient service is given to all guests
2.Ensure that the luggage porters are positioned correctly and are offering the correct level of service to our customers
3.Monitor and control the activities of the Luggage porters and Door attendants
4.Ensure that standards and procedures are set and understood
5.Assist with return guests by offering excellent service
6.Sell the Hotel outlets as much as possible
7.Ensure that Chef Concierge is kept informed of all developments and guest feedback
8.Ensure that a high standard of guest relations and service within the Concierge department is consistently maintained
9.Assist the Concierge Management in its daily tasks
10.To be fully conversant with the Hotel Emergency and Evacuation procedures
11.Co-ordinate all limousine bookings as per policy
12.Familiar with all public transport, especially local train services
13.Able to recommend and arrange tours for our customers
14.Must know all Hotel products and services and actively recommend to our guests
15.Develop staff for future promotions through training, cross and continuous coaching and counseling
16.Review work schedules of the Concierge team
17.Ensure that there is a thorough hand over at the completion of each shift
18.Ensure all Concierge correspondence is completed within 24hours
