Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing of F&B industry with 5 star hotels / resorts or free standing restaurants.
Other:
? General understanding of F&B operations and with knowledge of food and beverage products.

? Good English communication skill
JOB SCOPE
Responsible for contacting suppliers, negotiating for quality products in the best price for all purchases of spare parts for engineering, general maintenance, printing, packaging, linen, uniform, cleaning equipment and F&B equipment, as well as make sure the delivery is done in time.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Handle day to day ordering, answering telephone calls / emails and enquiries.
? Contact with suppliers for the price comparison and negotiate price and select of goods with the proper cost and best quality.
? Look for new suppliers.
? Carry out filing, updating all price lists, purchase requests and purchase orders.
? Prepare Purchase Orders when required.
? Distribute Purchase Request and Purchase Order copies to all parties concerned.
? Obtain quotations on Purchase Requisitions submitted.
? Obtain samples when necessary.
? Follow up on delivery date of goods after order placed.
? Check deliveries on arrival along with Unit manager / Outlet Chef.
? Support the Procurement Manager and spot-check all other non-perishables upon arrival for quality, quantity and packaging, as well as the correct temperature.
? Notify Purchasing Manager and Director of Restaurants of any problems or complaints as and when they arise.
? Be familiar with all operational duties of the Procurement Manager.
? Be familiar with all Purchasing Reports to be issued by the department.

? Complete other duties as assigned.
? Responsible for supporting Procurement Manager on all HACCP related issues and Master Record keeping, each Outlet Chef will also keep their own records in order.
