- Bachelor?s degree, preferably in hospitality management.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity in a mid or upper scale hotel.
- Ability to lead and direct teams, to make prompt/good decisions and enjoy working in fast pace.
- Fluent English and should be able to effectively communicate with diverse groups.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Pleasing personality, analytical, patience, creative, energetic, dynamic and result oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skill and has a hand on approach.
The key responsibilities for this position are:
? To be the main point of guest contact 24 hours.
? Monitor all arrivals, ensuring all requests are carried out smoothly. Ensure all reservations are honoured, or dealt with as quickly and smoothly as possible. Deal with VIP room inspections/arrivals/departures.
? Ensure all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met and that follow up is completed on a timely basis.
? Complete the front office operation in line with the standards and procedures of the hotel for Duty Manager.
? Submit housekeeping and cleaning requests as required.
? Ensure all associates are up to date with current facts of the hotel products and services including room types, rates, relatives and facilities, food and beverage outlets, health club, and other Novotel Bangkok Platinum properties.
