High school or equivalent education required.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
? Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
? Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Prior housekeeping experience required. At least one year
supervisory experience.
? Responsible for the supervision, training and co-ordination of Public Area attendants.
? Ensure that Public Area attendants comply with the St. Regis uniform and grooming standards.
? Operate smooth, efficient, cost effective operation; including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services and inventory control.
? Manage all department functions including short and long term planning, as well as day to day operation.
? Maintain confidentiality of departmental and company affairs.
? Ensure projects are effectively implemented and meets departmental goals.
? Maintain all departmental assets including equipment repairs and maintenance.
? Ensure all responsible areas are well maintained, cleaned and organized including the pantry.
? Maintain the integrity of the property wide inspection program on a regular basis.
? Conduct morning and afternoon briefings for the Public area attendants and ensure that all relevant information communicated to them
? Ensures safety of keys at all times during working hours. Sign out at start of shift and sign in at completion of shift.
? Turns in all Lost and Found items following the standard procedure.
? Assist with the implementation and maintenance of training systems to ensure that associates have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively.
? Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
? Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
? Proactively interact and assist staffs in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment.
? Respond to and resolve guests and/or staffs concerns in a professional manner.
? Ensure adherence to guest services within the St. Regis brand standard.
