? Thai (able to communicate)
? Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
? Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
? Must possess basic computational ability.
? Working knowledge of applicable sanitation standards.
Prior hospitality experience preferred.
? Cleaning exterior of the building with water hose and pressure washer if required.
? Cleaning of restrooms and telephones, interior and exterior of the hotel, and maintaining adequate stock of supplies
? Cleaning of all areas of the public areas and all equipment.
? Maintain the cleanliness of back-of-the-house areas.
? Work with and keep lines of communication open between all staffs to provide a smooth running operation.
? Maintain a gracious manner, professional atmosphere in all public areas.
? Follow procedures for picking up trash, emptying ash urns in the interior and exterior of the hotel.
? Follow bending/lifting techniques
? Perform general cleaning duties in public areas with the correct equipment (i.e. polishing glass doors, public toilets, empty ashtrays, elevators, heart of the house. etc.)
? Fully conversant with the hotel and its facilities, including the current events.
? Maintain, at all times, a neat and clean professional appearance.
? Maintain all cleaning equipment and organize them for daily tasks.
? Ensure work area is clean when finished.
? Scrub wall & floors (including mobbing, buffing, stripping and sealing of marble vinyl, & tiled) with the correct equipment and procedure.
? Vacuum carpeted areas.
? Clean & care for furniture, leather and fitting in public areas.
? Gather & dispose of rubbish.
? Clean Car parks & Driveway.
? Maintain knowledge of the hotel and local areas.
? Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Assistant Housekeeper or Housekeeping Shift Leader.
? Be well versed and knowledgeable of ?St. Regis? Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure Associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
? Uphold the Starwood Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.
? Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related ?St. Regis? and Starwood Policies.
? Anticipate guest?s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
? Well groomed according to Starwood polices
? Ensure guest satisfaction and attention to detail in all public spaces
? Anticipate guest needs accordingly
? No use of mobile phone in public spaces, neither during on the job.
