1. At least Bachelor degree in any field
2. New graduate who taken internship in related field or at least 1 year experience in front office
3. Good inter-personality skill and outgoing, friendly
4. Strong in English communication skill
5. Strong in problem solving skills, and execution of work
6. Computer literate

รายละเอียดงาน

1. To arrive at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according
to the employee handbook.
2. To have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features
and facilities, food and beverage outlets, menus/promotions, spa, fitness centre and etc.
3. Attend training and meetings as required.
4. Monitor daily arrivals, departures, VIP list ensuring all requests are carried out wherever possible
and all realistic expectations are met and ensure all reservations are honoured.
5. To anticipate guest needs and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner.
6. Have a complete knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
7. Report health, safety, and security hazards to the assistant manager-front office, and/or manager on
duty.
8. Ensure working area is clean and tidy at all times.
9. All calls must be answered within 3 rings. Answer the phone in a clear and courteous voice and
not rush. Hotel standards of receiving incoming calls must be followed.
10. Ensure recognition of guests when they call from rooms.
11. To perform check-in, check-out and cashiering for hotel guests.
12. Take and give wake up calls as per requested per LSOP.
13. Handle reservation calls, ensuring guest needs are met, in a helpful efficient manner, input into the
system as per procedure.
14. Keep up to date and communicate hotel marketing directions and promotions.
15. Be fully aware at all times of the selling strategy, rates and booking status of the hotel and ensure timely
and accurate communication of this to all concerned departments.
16. Work closely with sales team and all concerned on the maintenance of room blocks.
17. Actively participate in incentive programs initiated, up-selling efforts in the department.
18. Assist when requested with conduct competition / shop surveys in order to keep abreast of
competition pricing / package special corporate.
19. Suggest alternatives to meet customer needs in terms of product features and benefits.
20. Offer information and services where appropriate.
21. Handle room service order. Be courteous to the guest and try to accommodate any request for
items not listed on the room service menu (if possible).
22. After taking an order, make sure to read it back to the guest in order to be sure of accuracy.
23. Follow-up on all orders with servers to ensure that each order is going out on time.
24. Ensure one stop service for all guests, DO NOT redirect a guest to another area. Find information
required and advise guest accordingly.
25. To ensure effectiveness of secretarial functions which includes;
- Typing.
- Mail services (receiving, holding, forwarding)
- Message handing
- Arranging external couriers
- Photocopying
- Coordinating all outgoing facsimiles from the business centre
- Co-ordinate hotel reservations at other properties
- Arranging translation services
26. Thank customers and invite our guests to return.
27. Complete all shift duties as outlined on shift check list prior to the end of shift.
28. At the end of each shift, the report should be sent as an email to Front Office Manager and all
management for information action.
29. Ensure credit policy is adhered to at all times, any variance reported to the manager on duty
immediately.
30. Ensure float is maintained at a constant level as issued by accounting department.
31. Receive, handle and relaying of messages, mail, voice mail and faxes in an efficient, timely manner
as per hotel policy.
32. Carry out requests as directed by hotel management.
