PRIMARY DUTIES

1. Achieves annual budgeted sales and maximum profitability.
2. Responsible for the hotel?s sales & marketing plan by merging with corporate marketing programs. The preliminary sales & marketing plan must be completed within 30 days after the commence date.
3. Actively manages the financial statement, reviews and critiques performance in a timely fashion. Teaches the process to all members of the management team.
4. Assesses and reviews the job performance of subordinates and maintains personnel records of assigned employees.
5. Closely monitors solicitation and booking activity through the sales activity reporting process and periodical spot checks.
6. Coordinates internal training and development programs.
7. Creates and maintains a "guest first" priority throughout the property.
8. Creates new programs in response to market conditions and revenue opportunities.
9. Develops a goal oriented business plan to support the financial goals.
10. Develops accurate and aggressive long- and short-range financial objectives consistent with the company's mission statement.
11. Ensures good safety practices of employee and guests assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.
12. Fully utilizes and follows through a guest comment programs. Responds quickly to deficiencies and takes corrective action.
13. Ensures regular assessment and review of all hotel personnel by appropriate management employee.
14. Maintains a high personal visibility throughout the property.
15. Maintains an appropriate level of community public affairs involvement.
16. Maintains knowledge of local competition and general industry trends.
17. Maximizes sales potential of the properly and the management company.
