? High-school diploma to degree, vocational diploma in hospitality studies, food & beverage, or equivalent.
? Minimum of 2/3 years' experience in events organisation for trade fairs, seminars or congresses in a variety of contexts, preferably international.
? Competent desktop software user.
? Previous experience in a multi-cultural environment is essential.
? Fluent in English and the national language, a 3rd language would be a plus.
Candidates must be physically fit and should possess sound customer service, business, management, sales and marketing skills. Good problem solving, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills are also essential.
First aid qualifications are beneficial for most positions.
Under the supervision of the Function Center Manager, The Assistant Function Assistant Manager is responsible for the efficient co-ordination and successful implementation of all events and functions held at CP Leadership Institute.
He is responsible for the co-ordination and smooth running of events, liaising with all staff regarding the set up and close down of the function rooms.
The Event / Function Assistant Manager needs to have a full understanding of the function organizer's needs and expectations so that when required he can handleand solve any issues that may arise before, during or after the function.
