- College degree preferred
- Required a minimum of 3 years catering/hotel sales experience.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints.
- Sales ability and skill in both oral and written form.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends, as needed.
- Friendly and engaging demeanor with a customer service orientated personality.
- Must be computer literate with moderate to complex systems.
- Answer sales calls and walk in appointments for weddings and social event. Follow-up with clients on lead lists with email, phone call or post card. Fulfill the needs of the clients with timely correspondences or appointments.
- Responsible for contracting wedding and social business. Maximize revenue by up-selling at menu appointment.
- Provides personalized solutions for our clients and enhance our reputation and business by working with all needed departments to ensure we exceed clientele?s expectations.
- Maintain a supply of all wedding packages, booking packets and office paperwork.
-Adheres to all sales policies, practices and procedures.
- Collaborates with Director of Sales to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
- Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
