- Experience at least 10 years in Flight Preparation & Equipment Handling, Catering Business or Hotel Industry with big Banquet facilities. Familiar with Airline Catering a distinctive advantage
- Logistic flair and Organizational skills
- Possess proficiency in English language for reading, listening, speaking, and writing related to Loading instructions and the Internal computerized System in use to coordinate Catering Activities, e.g. Flight Preparation section
- Basic Computer skill in Microsoft appliances, analytical flair
- Physically fit and mentally fit
- Able to work long hours due to shift works requirements
Flight Preparation Specifications
- Ensure Total quality production, cost effectively controlled, in time and actual demand, up to customers specifications
Hygiene
- Follow Up and comply with the Production at Tray Setting, according to the latest BAC-USM Food Safety & Hygiene Procedures and control points already issued or under implementation, particular drawing and enforcing GMP and HACCP
Training-Responsibility-Authority
- Participate and assist the Operation Manager or Unit Manager, in training programs, held internally or externally, and execute the learned effectively. Through training gain knowledge you will apply and be responsible for, and ultimately gain authority to enforce the gained knowledge on the floor.ining-Responsibility-Authority
Food Presentations and Processes.
- To assist the Production and Sales Team, in Food Presentations, the preparation works, and total compliance of newly requested menus of customers or potential customers to be shown
Leadership
- Ensure and practice an open two-way-communication with both Superiors and Subordinates at all times you are on duty.
- Lead and assist all your subordinates during the day to day operations of the Tray Setting, by reporting to the Deputy production Manager, and liaison with the Sous Chef of the Kitchen BAC-USM.
- Establish and enforce goals and timelines agreed upon of all kitchen Specifications required day to day
Cost Control
- Lead, Guide & Assist the Tray Setting Team in the day to day planning and control of Specifications compliance with the producing workforce, in quantity and numbers of employees required for the daily tasks.
