Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Hotel Ambassadors will ensure to enhance the hotel experience by meeting and greeting our guests in Lobby, Outlets and Conference Rooms, building relationships with our guests by providing service that is personalized, engaging and memorable.
? Ensure adherence with all Standard Operating Policies & Procedures
? Ensure Guest requests are handled in a timely manner
? Be fully knowledgeable about hotel restaurants and facilities, to ensure to keep informed all changes and additions, knowledgeable of opening times, types of cuisines and dress codes.
? Be familiar with all daily events and functions within the hotel
? Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, anticipative service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests
? Advise Guests of points of interest in the surrounding area
? Be familiar with all guest services and information guests may require. Assist guests with confirming airline tickets, making restaurant reservations, arranging tours and making transportation arrangements.
? Liaise with Guest Services and Front Office teams to foresee future VIP arrivals and departures
? Maintain high level of communication and feedback within the department
? Project and maintain the image of the highest standards within the hotel at all times
? Record all incidents or service failures in One Touch Service
? Well versed in a guest employment engagement.
? Maximize the sale of our internal outlets
? Maintain amicable and co-operative working relations with all other departments
? Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, using working practices that are safe and sensible to your colleagues and to yourself
? Attend any courses Management may deem beneficial
? Assist in the departmental training of new colleagues
? Display an attitude of friendliness, courtesy and sincerity to all guests (internal and external), making them feel welcomed, at ease, using guest names at every given opportunity
? Posses working knowledge of the Hotel Property Management System
? Build relationship with our most loyal guests, knowledgeable of all regular guests and their personalized preferences
? Liaise closely with Front Office, Sales, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and other departments
? Able to work different shifts, start and end times depending on business volumes
