Sales Manager - Corporate

Position Summary
The Sales Manager - Corporate is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing corporate accounts to achieve the hotel's revenue targets across rooms, meetings, and catering segments. This role identifies new business opportunities, builds strong relationships with corporate clients, and works closely with key internal departments to ensure high satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
The position requires strong negotiation skills, proactive account management, and a clear understanding of corporate travel patterns, MICE demand, and company procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Sales
1.1 Develop and implement strategies to secure corporate room nights, meetings, and long-stay business.
1.2 Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for corporate FIT, MICE, and long-stay segments.
1.3 Conduct daily sales activities: sales calls, tele-sales, property visits, presentations, client entertainment.
1.4 Negotiate rates, contracts, RFPs, and corporate agreements in line with hotel pricing strategy.
1.5 Monitor competitor offerings, market trends, and demand periods to optimize revenue opportunities.
1.6 Work with revenue team to manage corporate rate loading, blocks, and forecasts.
2. Account Management
2.1 Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, embassies, local companies, and travel management firms.
2.2 Manage key accounts to maximize share and grow year-over-year performance.
2.3 Conduct quarterly reviews with key accounts to analyze performance and explore new opportunities.
2.4 Respond promptly to inquiries, provide proposals and contracts, and follow up to secure bookings.
2.5 Handle corporate VIP bookings and ensure personalized care in coordination with the GM and FO team.
3. MICE Coordination & Support
3.1 Sell and coordinate small to mid-size meetings, team-building activities, workshops, and corporate gatherings.
3.2 Conduct site inspections and familiarization tours for corporate planners.
3.3 Work closely with Events/Banquet to ensure accurate BEOs, setups, and service delivery.
3.4 Attend pre-con meetings and ensure smooth execution of corporate events.
4. Business Development
4.1 Proactively acquire new accounts from targeted industries (tech, medical, manufacturing, education, government).
4.2 Maintain a strong pipeline and update lead tracking systems.
4.3 Build partnerships with local community groups to attract new business opportunities.
5. Reporting & Administration
5.1 Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports, corporate production reports, and forecast updates.
5.2 Ensure contracts, rate codes, and promotions are correctly filed and communicated.
5.3 Support S&M meetings, revenue meetings, and strategy discussions.
