M&E or MEP Engineer (Maleenont Tower, Bangkok)

Requirements :
- Advise the Project Director of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress & quality
- Continually review the contractor- s construction schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the project Director on the same.
- Review Contractor- s installation method statements.
- Review Contractor- s shop drawings against the design [tender] drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Project Director with appopriate comments / approval within the specified contractual period
- Review contractor- s mechanical shop drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise the Project Director accordingly.
- Where required prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and co-ordination issues.
- Review Contractor- s proposed sub contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.
- Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the mechanical services works for Contractor- s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant- s specification, good working practices and construction schedule.
- Review and comment upon the Contractor- s Operation and Maintenance manuals.
- Set up meetings to resolve specific site problems as required to minimize program delays.
- Monitor quality of the Contractor- s construction installations.

Responsibilities :
Assist with MEP design and reviews of all capital projects including HVAC design and provide technical oversight and guidance to DPAS design, construction and project management staff.Review and comment on all MEP engineering related work performed by engineering consultants. Develop detailed design specifications and assists in the preparation of bid packages for MEP engineering services and similar to contracts to support DPAS needs.

Support construction contractor and provide MEP engineering related support, review and coordination to ensure that the quality expectation are properly met during construction. Recommend alternative engineering solutions to management to meet the project construction. Design, develop, modify and evaluate systems, processes, or facilities to support the capital improvement projects objectives. Coordinate with office staff, consultants, contractors and other personnel
