- 3-5 years of Revenue Management experience required, preferably in luxury or upscale segments
- Good knowledge in revenue management and reservations as part of the job scope in taking charge on Reservations department as well.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Powerpoint
- Thorough knowledge of TARS, GDS, IDS and all distribution systems
- Good knowledge of RM?s Tools as well as Hotel PMS, Supportive Tools, Price Trackers, Channel Managers
- Knowledge of Property/Revenue Management System or Travel Accor Reservation System would be an asset
- Proactive, result oriented
- Good team working skills and able to work effectively and contribute in a team
- Multicultural awareness and able to work with people from diverse cultures
- Flexible and able to embrace and respond to change effectively
- Ability to work independently and has good initiative under dynamic environment
Supports the Hotel Manager and Director of Business Development in the creation
of the strategy, with proper analysis, and acts as an alerter for revenue
opportunity or turnover risk in order to suggest the appropriate sales actions.
MAIN DUTIES & TASK LISTS
DATA COLLECTION & ANALYSIS
- Keeps the best possible data quality to optimize the decision making process.
- Analyzes daily the hotel performance in the RMS and survey the market in terms of pricing strategies
DECISION
- Implements the revenue strategy such as planning update, distribution channel monitoring, pricing adjustment and groups quotes.
- Is responsible for having all the revenue management processes in place in his/her perimeter and ensures the optimization of the revenue tools, the market intelligence and the best business practices.
RECOMMENDATION & COMMUNICATION
- Maximizes the revenue according to the operations constraints and raises the awareness of revenue philosophy among the other departments.
- Is in charge of preparing the total revenue budget and of ensuring the hotel reaches and outperforms it.
- Is responsible for the implementation of RM methods to maximize the turnover in accordance with brand?s marketing, country, area, hotel strategies and customer?s needs.
- Runs RevMax meeting and daily meeting with E-Commerce and Reservation team.
EVALUATION
- Analyzes daily, weekly and monthly the results - RevPAR and market share - in order to react in time
- Checks regularly the implementation of the defined strategies (brand, place, hotel).
