Able to read and understand electrical circuit, sanitary and HVAC drawings.
Able to manage and supervise plant operation.
Able to energy saving and maintenance cost saving.
At least 5 years of practical experience in repair and maintenance of M&E system or plant operation controller in a hotel, ships, manufacturing industry or large building.
Education = Diploma
= Bachelor degree.
English = fair
1. Conducts routine property inspections as directed to determine maintenance requirements or upgrades and improvements to the property and its assets.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all rules and regulations regarding safe working practices are complied with
3. Handles specific job requests as directed in an efficient and timely manner
4. Participates in preventative maintenance programs as directed
5. Assigns specific tasks and job requests to subordinate staff and supervises their day to day activity
6. Co-ordinates with Front Office and Housekeeping regarding specific in hotel maintenance activities
7. Reports any abnormal or extraordinary incidents to the Chief Engineer for his action and follow up
8. Assists in the maintenance of efficient administration preparing and submitting reports on time as directed
9. Checks and maintains the hotel water supply and electricity systems to ensure they are functioning properly
10. Ensures that the plant room, work shop and related areas, and tools and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy manner
11. Liaises with the Chief Engineer to order specific spare parts or equipment necessary to execute effective maintenance
12. Co-ordinates with fellow duty engineers regarding engineering work in progress
