2. 2 years of working experience as a Linen Attendant preferred.

4. Controls and organizes issuance of linen.
5. Knowledge of cleaning agents.

The Linen Attendants maintains, controls and organizes issuance of linen/uniform in accordance with the established policies and procedures set by the Serviced Apartment. He/she is also in charge of operating washing or dry cleaning machines to wash or dry clean client or household articles, such as cloth garments, blankets and carpets.
1. Sorts, counts and records number of items soiled.
2. Examines and sorts articles to be cleaned into lots, according to colour, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning technique required
3. Places linen and uniform in good condition.
4. Irons or presses articles, fabrics, and furs, using hand iron or pressing machine.
5. Examines laundered items to ensure cleanliness and service ability.
6. Sends torn articles to seamstress for repair.
7. Stores laundered linen and uniform on shelves after verifying number and types of articles.
8. Issues uniform to be changed on a clean for soiled basis.
9. Counts and records linen to fill requisitions.
10. Cleans machine filters and lubricates equipment.
11. Removes from dryer and folds, wraps, or hangs items for airing out, pickup, or delivery.
