Welcomes and greets guests according to standard.
?Presents menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, makes recommendations upon request.
?Informs customers of daily specials.
?Explains how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
?Takes and serves guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
?Checks food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
?Checks with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct problems (if any).
?Removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and takes them to kitchen for cleaning.
?Stocks service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
?Reports any deviations of standards to supervisor.
?Sets up dining table, arranges utensils and equipment which are in line with design standard.
