?Bachelor?s degree required, Business, Sales/Marketing or Hotel Management
?Graduation from an accredited college or university in an appropriate curriculum and considerable experience related to this class of work including some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
?Oversee the process and handling of all reservations, including managing Reservation Agents.
?Interview, train and manage reservation agents for the efficient operation of the department. Monitor performance and give feedback according to established standards.
?Be knowledgeable about the uses and functions of, GDS and PMS to ensure all systems are being maintained properly.
?Oversee group block management in the PMS system, working with other parties as needed.
?Audit reservations entered and verify accuracy of reservations. Ensure VIPs, room assignments and special requests are handled.
?Prepare and distribute weekly operational forecasts and keep all department heads well informed of any unexpected changes in levels of business.
