- Minimum of 5 years food and beverage management experience as a Director position.
- 5-star hotel experience in both the front and back of the house.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience managing to brand standards.
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Leadership of all Food and Beverage departments within the property and helps to position Salil Journey as a F&B destination for local as well as international patrons.
Functions as the strategic business leader of the property's food and beverage/culinary operation, including Restaurants/Bars, Room Service and Banquets/Catering, where applicable. Position oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. The position ensures the food and beverage/culinary operation meets the brand's target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department. Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and property employees and provides a return on investment.
Operations - ensure the smooth running of the overall Food & Beverage operations providing customers with the best possible service. Ensure good co-ordination of all departments in the division, ie. restaurants & bars, banquet, kitchen and stewarding so as to achieve each and every department budgeted profit keeping the customer satisfaction as a main objective.
Financial - achieve budgeted revenues while keeping food & Beverage, payroll and other costs in line so as to produce the forecasted profit.
Commercial - establishing the pricing strategies, positioning and promotion of the F&B outlets in co-ordination with marketing team.
