Scope of Work

You are responsible & empowered to handle all activities relevant to the guest contact points such serving food and beverage, leading activities, assisting guests with their quest for information on our neighborhood & the destination we are in. Leading and controlling the team you are expected to lead by example - their behavior, speech and appearance must be without fault.

To create truly unforgettable experiences by delivering unique accommodation, activities and service.

Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

Restaurant Supervisor responsibilities include, but aren?t limited to

Welcoming and greeting all guests in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
Delivering Food and Beverage service standards in accordance with departmental standards and procedures
Communicating to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information
Establishing and maintaining effective employee working relationships
Planning, selling and executing guest events and activities
Attending and participating in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
Attending and participating in training sessions as scheduled


Prepares for service by ensuring:

Grooming is impeccable and in accordance with personal presentation standards
Outlet equipment is clean
Equipment is sorted and stored
Requirements for special occasions are ready
Outlet is ready for service and guest comfort


Carries out effective service by ensuring:

All guests are acknowledged
Daily food and beverage specials are explained and up-sold
Food orders are processed accurately
Payment methods are handled accurately
Working areas are cleaned and re-set quickly
Bar is clean
Guests are conversed with in relation to the food and beverage products


Carries out effective beverage service by ensuring:

Beverages are up-sold and regularly replenished, abiding by responsible alcohol service regulations
Promoting and selling cocktails to guests
Coffee and tea is served hot and in accordance with standard


Patron care standards are adhered to by ensuring:

Guests are advised on alcoholic beverages
Compliance with legal provisions of local liquor codes
Level of intoxication of guests is assessed and appropriate action taken
Advise guest on the hotel?s policy of smoking
Monitor factors which interfere with the total experience of the guest
Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Run and lead activities as required
Any other duties to support the overall success and growth of the company
