Security Manager

- 4-5 years of security and safety experience and/or military/law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of local laws and regulations related to security & strong knowledge of security protocols.
- Leadership team management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication in English.

- Oversees and assists in the preparation and updates of the Security Departmental Operations Manual.
- Assists with the preparation and regular update of the Security Departmental Budget, in close cooperation with the General manager ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.
- Ensures that all new associates are briefed and/or trained in Fire Prevention/Fire Fighting procedures relevant to their position.
- Handles investigation and reports all claims regarding thefts, accidents, injury, property damage, vandalism and trespassing from guests, visitors or hotel personnel with the assistance of local police if necessary.
- Develops the skills and effectiveness of all Security associates through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
