Experience:

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all recipes are prepared to the highest quality. In this role, you will oversee daily operations in your section, lead a small team, and help maintain a smooth, efficient kitchen during service. You will work closely with other chefs to uphold food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Section Management:
- Oversee daily operations in your assigned section to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of taste, portioning, and preparation.
- Coordinate & organize Mise en place list with your team.
Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare and cook recipes following recipe book and taste standard.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every plate served.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, including demi chefs and commis.
- Provide training and support to help them develop their skills.
Hygiene & Safety:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation standards of the company.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor ingredient quality and manage stock levels.
- Report shortages and assist with inventory rotation and proper storage.
