Job Summary:
The Guest Service Officer is responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests throughout their stay. This includes welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing guest requests, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the property management system (RMS).
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs.
- Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
- Ensure lobby and front desk areas are clean, organized, and presentable.
- Promote hotel services, facilities, and upsell room categories where appropriate.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and uphold data security standards.
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policy.
