- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar role or customer service is preferred.
- Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Pleasant voice tone, professional phone etiquette, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with telephone systems and computer skills (PMS knowledge is a plus).
- Answer all internal and external calls promptly and courteously in accordance with hotel standards.
- Transfer calls to the appropriate department or staff member efficiently.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Record and relay messages accurately and promptly to the relevant personnel.
- Assist in wake-up call services and ensure accurate timing.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and operating hours.
- Operate hotel?s communication equipment including telephone systems, paging, and emergency systems.
- Log and report technical issues or unusual calls to supervisors.
- Ensure confidentiality of guest and hotel information at all times.
- Support emergency procedures, such as fire or medical situations, by contacting appropriate responders.
