You should ideally have a diploma / degree in hospitality or a vocational training in food & beverage with previous experiences as a Waiter / Waitress in a high volume restaurant.
A good command of English and additional skills, like guest service and interpersonal are essentials.
- Ensure equipment and bar area is kept hygienically clean and tidy at all times and sufficient ice and glassware is available for the business level
- Assist in serving and replenishing bar snacks
? Clear food and beverages after guests have finished
- Remove all dishes and glasses from the bar for cleaning
- Working areas are cleaned and re-set quickly
Greet guests
- Adhere to Vogue Lounge beverage control procedures
- Stock is rotated on a FIFO (first in first out) system
- Check all fridge temperatures and fill in required documents according to VOGUE lounge Food and Beverage Hygiene Standards
- Notify the bar supervisor of stock requirements
- Inform the bar supervisor of any stock losses, problems or unavailable items
- Ensure the storeroom is kept in a hygienic condition
- Ensure that all stock is established as per par levels and stored according to VOGUE lounge Food and Beverage Hygiene Standards
